JPCL performed various types of data collection services at the Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. These services encompassed gathering traffic data on roadways at and in the vicinity of the airport. Additionally, the scope included collecting passenger data at the Terminal Frontages as well as AirTrain stations. JPCL deployed over 100 ATRs and high-definition cameras to collect various types of traffic information, such as Vehicle Volumes, Vehicle Classification Counts(VCCs), Turning Movement Counts (TMCs). The VCC and TMC data was classified based on 6 classes.

Field surveyors were de-ployed at all terminals to conduct departing/arriving passenger surveys. Video footage of Terminal Frontages and AirTrain Stations was processed and analyzed to determine ridership, dwell times, waiting periods etc. Volume data was collected over a continuous period of fourteen (14) days at more than 100 locations, which required periodic equipment checks and replacements. A comprehensive QA/QC procedure plan was strictly followed to collect, compile and submit accurate data to the agency. Raw traffic data was reformatted as per PANYNJ requirements and compiled into both pdf and excel formats for submission.
